Click to read:  How Confronting Disability and Recreational Assistive Technologies Can Spark Inner Transformation

I have the privilege of sharing this article with you all. The privilege of even being able to write something like this came about from just doing what I love and riding the trails.

I previously mentioned the awesome occupational therapist @fromajacobson I just happened to meet on the trail one day. She opened a whole world of speaking opportunities and introduced me to the great people at @atclosingthegap that asked me to write this article.

This is the most detailed account of my life post injury, my story, my struggle, the insights gleaned from confronting disability, the importance of community, the role of recreational assistive technology in sparking inner transformation and the value of adaptive empowerment.

Adaptive mountain biking really changed my life. I wanted to share how finding your spark can truly spark inner transformation.

I’ve been so privileged to have some of the best people around me in my life encouraging me when I was down, offering hope, teaching me, and empowering me. I hope there can be some elements of that in my story.

If any of this resonates with you, please help me share this, I hope it can be of use to others 🙏🏻

With great love and dedication, I love and thank you all for being a part of my life ❤️
